About

I am a pastor at Grace Park Church in Spring Hill, TN. My wife Amy and I moved to the area in 2004 to be part of a movement to redefine perceptions of what it means to be a Christian and what it means to be a church.

This blog started when I decided to train for the Country Music Marathon on April 25, 2009. I finished the race and am going to use this space to talk about (likely) random musings.  The last time I blogged a few years back I put out about 10 posts that I was really proud of. Then I ran out of stuff to say. We’ll see how this goes.

Oh by the way, I talk in parenthesis a lot (not sure why, probably because I chase a lot of rabbits).

This is my attempt at figuring out what God is doing in my life at the moment. Journaling seems to be something I will do during private devotional times (writing out my prayers, thoughts on the Scripture for the day). So, blogging will be where I put down thoughts on church planting, following Christ in the suburbs, exercise, gaming, and just about anything and everything. I am going to put the address to this blog on my e-mail signature and leave it at that. This is likely more for me than anyone else. If you find it encouraging/amusing/insert positive idea here feel free to comment. Words of affirmation are one of my love languages.  (:
